While most of us rely on medical technology, chemicals and history to cure our ailments, when faced with a true life threatening situation it is not uncommon for one to reach to the depths of their being for a strength that otherwise has been dormant in the soul. These are the times that we experience spontaneous healing from situations that have been deemed untreatable or unbeatable. This unknown strength lies within each one of us and can be called upon when necessary if one believes. Some individuals approach this with speculation trying to make sense of an otherwise miracle because they have no understanding of the ability that each of us possess when faced with living or dying.
Many people walk through life acting as if they are victims to circumstances. They seem to feel that they have no control over what happens to them in their life and make no attempt to change the outcome of what seems to be a set course. However, there are those individuals that are proactive and believe that they can make a difference in a given situation all they have to do is believe and direct their thoughts and energy in a positive and helpful direction. These are the people that will encounter what many label as spontaneous healing. By using their energy on believing in a force larger than themselves, they are able to change the course of events in their life.
We all have the power to bring to life what we believe. If we are negative and are willing to give in to a diagnosis of doom, then that is what you will definitely receive. However, the person that faces a grim diagnosis with a positive, "I can do" attitude will have a completely different outcome even if the two had the same illness. By focusing a positive attitude on healing, one can change the course of the disease in his or her body. From this inner strength, one can redirect their path and create spontaneous healing. By believing that you have a divine power to heal, you can call on this strength and combine it with the necessary medical care to accomplish a positive outcome.
With the understanding that the physical body does not exist without the spiritual body, one can then begin to see how we must eliminate the man made boundaries set between the physical and spiritual realms. We must call on both the physical body and the spiritual body to overcome life-threatening events. It is in this way we experience spontaneous healing that may or may not have a logical medical explanation. Many have personally seen the healing of belief power up close and if you are faced with a similar situation, seek out someone that has beaten the odds through the power of believing. They can give you guidance and insight that no one else can share.
When considering spontaneous healing, we need to consider that the same "process" within us that heals us can also wound us. Dr. Martinez has studied "how the mind wounds and heals the body". This will be a topic of many other blog articles.
